The Waxing Room offers both Female and Male waxing from a private residential property in Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, providing clients a welcoming and discreet service. Client confidentiality is assured.
Only Perron Rigot waxes and products are used throughout your treatment to ensure the best waxing treatment for you. Perron Rigot is a renowned French creator of high quality waxes. Personally I think it is the best wax on the market.
My name is Elaine and I have been trained at The Rooms, Stotfold in partnership with North Hertfordshire College as well as Omni Academy of Beauty, Walton on Thames. I am VTCT Qualified – Level 2 in Wax Depilation and Level 3 in Advanced Intimate Waxing.
I specialised my skills further with training from ‘The Queen of Waxing’, Kim Lawless and with Male Grooming Intimate Waxing specialist, Jack Dunn.
I am an Intimate Waxing Specialist for Women and Men.
I am fully insured as a Member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists (MGBT).
I am fortunate to be able to do a job I am passionate about. For me it’s not just about what I remove, it is what I leave behind… healthy skin. As I offer treatments from my home, this helps me to give the highest service possible as well as provide a friendly and comfortable environment.
The Waxing Room offers a wide electric salon bed with the added touch of a heated blanket warmer. The Room is kept at the right temperature for you and the waxes so you can enjoy the perfect waxing experience.
Hygiene levels to expect at The Waxing Room:
Clean gloves are worn for all waxing treatments. I sanitize the gloves where there are multiple treatments for the same client. Disposable towels are used for intimate treatments.
The Carlton Epiltherm Professional Glass Bead Sterilizer is used within The Waxing Room. The unit operates at a temperature in excess of 300°C which means the tweezers inserted into the heated glass beads will be sterilized within one minute.
The salon bed is cleaned with anti-bacterial spray after every client.
Never double dip! The Waxing Room has a NO double dip policy. This means the disposable spatula used to apply the wax is not dipped into the waxing pot again once it is applied to skin. I have high standards of hygiene because your health and well-being is paramount to me.
Waxing treatments are strictly by appointment only.
Please send me a Text Message to arrange an appointment. I will get back to you either between Appointments or at the latest, by the end of the day. Please note that only one person at a time during treatment, so unfortunately you will not be able to bring children or friends.
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
When you book an Appointment at The Waxing Room, that time is reserved exclusively for you.
So Clients who continually cancel at the last minute will be asked to only try to book on the day.
And those Clients who do not cancel and do not show up will unfortunately be blocked from being able to make further Appointments unless they pay in full for the one they missed.
Appointment Reminders will be sent via text the day before, so even if you’ve forgotten, there’s plenty of time for letting us know if you can’t make it.
